IBD™ Inline Buffer Dilution Systems maintain consistent conductivity and pH

IBD™ System was used to create a ternary blend of 216 mM TRIS and 284 mM acetate at pH 5.04 (± 0.1 pH unit) and conductivity 9.42 mS/cm (± 0.1 pH mS/cm).

Patented Adaptive PAT™ conductivity coupled with feedback control created a high quality buffer characterized by pH and conductivity values that remained consistent for 60 minutes.

When operated under rising temperatures, IBD™ prevented drift to both pH and conductivity via temperature compensation.

Conductivity (black), pH (green), and temperature (blue) trend lines were plotted from a temperature compensation test in which 10 mM sodium phosphate and 20 mM sodium chloride were recirculated through a process flow cell while a temperature gradient was applied from 18.77 °C to 23.25 °C over 130 minutes (ΔT/min ± 0.035 °C/min).
